Tina Pupuke BrownMrs. Tina Browne practices in transactions involving international companies and offshore banks which have been incorporated or registered pursuant to the International Companies Act 1981-82 and which have been licensed pursuant to the Offshore Banking Act 1981.

Mrs. Browne also specialises in all areas of land law including land rights according to local custom, purchase, sale and lease of commercial and residential properties, financing of property transactions,preparation of wills and trusts, estate administration and company law. Mrs. Browne is generally acknowledged as one of the country's leading practitioners in the area of land law.

Mrs. Browne undertakes court litigation in the High Court and the Court of Appeal.

Mrs. Browne graduated from Canterbury University in1979 and was admitted to the High Court of New Zealand in 1980. She initially commenced work in New Zealand for Russell McVeagh Mckenzie Bartleet & Co (then New Zealand's leading law firm). Mrs. Browne subsequently traveled back to the Cook Islands where she took up employment with the Crown Law Office in the beginning of 1981 then commenced employment with Clarkes later that same year. She became a partner in 1984 and has been a partner ever since.

Bret John GibsonBret Gibson specialises in corporate and commercial work including security work, contract work and legal advice to international clients. Mr. Gibson is very experienced in matters in connection with the International Companies Act 1981-82, International Trusts Act 1984, Offshore Banking Act 1981, International Partnership Act 1984 and Offshore Insurance Act 1981-82. Mr. Gibson has undertaken civil and criminal litigation to both the High Court and the Court of Appeal levels. An area of specialisation by Mr. Gibson is the transactions involving companies.

Another area of specialisation is in the respect of matters in connection with international trusts which are registered pursuant to the International Trusts Act 1984. Mr. Gibson is one of the leading practitioners in the Cook Islands in matters involving the International Trusts Act 1984 and has been involved in both the defense and the challenge to the settlement and dispositions to trusts which have been registered pursuant to the International Trusts Act.

Mr. Gibson graduated from Auckland University in 1986. He was admitted to the Bar of the High Court of New Zealand in 1986. He commenced practice in New Zealand for Russell Mcveagh McKenzie Bartleet & Co. He moved to the Cook Islands where he was employed by Clarkes for two years prior to becoming a partner in 1989. He has been a partner of Clarkes P.C. ever since.
